Bishop’s Medal in Religious Studies Competitions 2018
Religious Studies (Adults)
Category 1: Matriculated 3rd Level Students
Category 2: Adult Lay Persons (over 18yrs)
Competition Requirements: The two categories of the competition are open to adult lay persons of any denomination who are normally resident within the boundary of the United Diocese. There are TWO Medal awards (ie one for each category). Submissions on broadly religious themes are welcome from a wide spectrum of disciplines and in various formats. Examples may include extended written submissions, projects, musical compositions, art, poetry, teaching programmes and architectural designs. Other ideas are welcome pending the submission of a short proposal (400 words) from all applicants for approval. Competition finalists will present their work at a diocesan public forum. The public presentation forms part of the competition.
