Happy Easter to one and all, don’t eat too many Easter Eggs, keep them for the Sales Reps when they visit !! On a more serious note we reflect on our Christianity as we travel with our church through holy week, remembering what has Jesus done for us.
FEBRUARY OUTING:
On the evening of Tuesday 20th February we set sail for Naas. It was to be a new adventure for us all as we visited the new cinema Plex in Naas. An excellent facility with a healthy number of screens each showing the very best film. Both Ruth and I questioned our giving up of time to be leaders with the Youth Club on that night, simple rule obeying is all we ask. I will say no more. Thank you to all the helpers on the night and to all the members who came. Thank you.
MARCH YOUTH SERVICE:
Baltinglass Group of Parishes held the service in St Mary’s, Baltinglass. A nice homely crowd was in attendance with a very back to basic’s service led by myself. Three hymns, one reading, Prayer, Reflection and a cuppa what the Youth Alive Youth Services are noted for. A hugh word of thanks to Dermot Finlay who lead the music, giving the more traditional hymn a modern slant. To Ruth Blake, Elizabeth Edwards and everyone who helped with the tea - well done, it was superb. A special word of thanks to Canon
McCullagh for his ever-encouraging Support.
