The Mountrath Puppet Ministry Group had a most successful trip to Lund last
month. The Revd Cliff has included his report and photographs below.
The Chairman attended both Diocesan Synods with her display, literature and
spoke briefly on both occasions about our link.
Richard Greene and Lennart Jonsson have worked have at putting together an
inter-diocesan photographic competition for all you camera enthusiasts. Details
are below and the prize should bring lots of entries! We will arrange for the
winners to appear on the diocesan website and in the diocesan magazine – you
might even get your photograph into the Church of Ireland Gazette! So, get
snapping – it’s open to all age groups!!
The proposed visit of Dean Stiber and his clergy is taking shape.
There will be news of developments in our musical link shortly as well.
In the meantime, have a Holy, Peaceful and Happy Christmas and a 2004 filled
with Joy and Happiness.

LUND LINK PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION
Photographs in either print or electronic format (not slides) to be submitted
by 1st February 2004 to:
Richard Greene, Shallon 2 Pleasant Avenue, Mount Pleasant, Waterford.

Entrants must include details of: Name
Address
Parish
Optional: Age (if under 21)
Title of picture(s)
Three pictures maximum from any one entrant.
Pictures to be representative of the theme: “The Parish”
Pictures that are submitted will be scanned (if not already in electronic format)
and placed on a special website – the address of this will be published
in the next Diocesan Magazine.
If entrants wish prints returned to them a S.A.E. needs to be enclosed.
The judging panel will comprise of the Bishop (or his nominee), a member of
the Lund Link committee and one other. Naturally, no judge will be eligible
to enter.
The winner will be announced by Sunday 29th February 2004
The prize will be a weekend spent as a guest of the Lund Diocese in Sweden,
air travel included, for 2 persons. (Date of visit by mutual agreement between
winner and Lund Link committee)
Note: An identical competition is being run simultaneously in the Lund diocese,
their prize will be a weekend spent over here as our guest.
