Cashel, resting at the heart of Tipperarys Golden Vale, is an epicentre of Irish and European heritage, with a history which predates the discovery of America and the New World by over a millennium. A home to saints, scholars and warrior chiefs, it overlooks a magnificent landscape from atop the world famous Rock of Cashel.
Dundrum is an attractive village situated about 6 miles from Tipperary Town, on the Thurles road. It has a population of 219 (1996 census). The village is beautifully set close to both Rasheen Wood and the Multeen River.
