The United Dioceses of Cashel & Ossory seeks a Full-Time Youth Officer to continue and develop Youth Ministry in the United Dioceses. The target group are those of secondary school age and those in the late teen to early 20 age group and the DYO liaises fully with incumbents and others involved in the field. Information : getting information on all relevant groups, people and activities within the united dioceses; keeping it up to date and coherent; making it available; briefing, publicising and promoting. Assistance and advice : helping and liasing with Clergy and others to set up and organise groups, activities; developing and advising on policy, goals, approaches and pitfalls. Organisation : personally setting up and running groups and activities And above all Making contact with and getting to know young Anglicans at both Diocesan and local levels, including those not involved with the church, and walking with them as they discover the path of faith in Christ. ============================== |
