During work to the cathedral's 150 year heating system, it has been necessary on the grounds of health & safety, to extend the closure of the cathedral until Monday 25 October. During this time, however, the grounds will remain open as usual .

Services will begin again at the Cathedral on Sunday 24October

We very much regret taking this course of action, however the safety of all who visit the building must be our priority. Despite the closure, the cathedral administrator, Mark Bowyer will remain on site and contactable at the number given below.
