Jenny Crowly and Lynne Rogers will be ordained Deacons for the Church of Ireland at a special Ordination Service in St. Edan's Cathedral, Ferns, Co. Wexford, on Tuesday 24th June at 7pm. The Ordaining Bishop will be the Right Revd. Peter F. Barrett and the preacher will be the Revd. Canon Alan Abernethy.

Jenny is married to Noel, a farmer, and they live in Stradbally, Co. Waterford. They have three sons and a daughter in their late teens and early twenties. Jenny has been a Parish Reader for ten years, before beginning training for the auxiliary ministry. She has worked in the Fiddown Union of Parishes and following ordination will serve in the Waterford Group of Parishes.

Lynne is married to Jeff, who works as a filtration engineer, and they have two children, both married and living in England. They have three grandchildren. She trained originally as a secretary and has worked as a classroom assistant, educational administrator and counsellor. She has enjoyed her time as a student reader in the Carnew and Crosspatrick Union of Parishes, Co. Wexford. Following ordination she will work in the Ferns Union of Parishes.
