
 Lismore is situated 13 miles south of Clogheen and 16 miles east of Fermoy, in the picturesque Blackwater Valley.
Now a market town, Lismore was originally a monastic settlement, once containing 20 churches. Stradbally is a quiet seaside town of thatched and slatted cottages, with a few local shops. The town's main attractions are the nearby Carrigahilla House gardens and the sheltered sandy beach in Stradbally Cove.
Cappoquin is situated on the northern bank of the River Blackwater, 11 miles from Dungarvan, 55 miles from Waterford City, and 3 miles from Lismore.
The town has a population of about 1,800 people, and the main employers in the area are the Cappoquin Chickens factory and a bacon processing plant. Kilrossanty is situated 5 Miles from Lemybrien, on the N25.The town of Kilmacthomas is built on the steep slopes on either sides of the River Mahon and is reached by turning left off the main N 25 Dungarvan to Waterford Road. The town has a population of twelve hundred people, and it's main attraction is its waterfall, the beautiful Mahon Falls.
