On Monday the 15th of May, Dean Mooney began his walk in the footsteps of St. Edan when he walked from Ferns in Co Wexford to St. David’s Cathedral in Wales. This was both a personal pilgrimage and a fundraiser to renew the thatch on St. Mogue’s Cottage Ferns and to help finance the renovation of the windows and the gates of St. Edan’s Cathedral Ferns.

Dean Paul Mooney would like to say a big thank you to all who prayed for and encouraged him as he walked to St David’s Cathedral in Wales and also to all who contributed to the fundraiser. He said it was a special time for him to reflect and connect.
