LOCKDOWN due to a resurgence of Covid cases was announced by An Taoiseach this evening. LAOIS (and KILDARE AND OFFALY) are the three counties involved so for the next two weeks all churches in those counties are closed for services, including those in Clonenagh, Abbeyleix, Portlaoise, Rathdowney and Stradbally Unions of Parishes.
The list below gives details of online services available in some of these parishes and in other parishes in our Diocese.

******SPECIAL ONLINE SERVICE IN THIS DIOCESE THIS WEEK******
The Mothers’ Union virtual Diocesan Festival Service, recorded recently in the Bishop’s Garden, Kilkenny will be available to view from 9 a.m. this Sunday (Mary Sumner Day) on the Diocesan website https://cashel.anglican.org/ It is also scheduled for the Diocesan FB page at that time and the CFO MU diocesan website and FB page.
The outdoor service that followed social distancing guidelines includes images and music, a reflection by Bishop Burrows and the commissioning of four MU officers.
