2 Year Certificate in Christian Studies
Have you ever wondered why we have three Creeds? Do you have an interest
in Church History, or how the Church of Ireland organises its Liturgy and
Worship? In its essence Theology is thinking and talking about God.
Would you like to know more? Then the 2 Year Certificate in Christian Studies may be of interest to you. It covers six varied topics delivered online with the support of
tutorials, a guided reading list and in some modules there will be ‘field days’.
You have the option to complete some assignments as you go that are
accredited by St Patrick’s Pontifical University, Maynooth. If you are thinking of some kind of ministry in your local church such as a Diocesan Reader, this
is part of the route you might need to take.
The course is aimed at adult learners and you do not need any previous study.
You will complete 3 modules each year at a cost of €100 per module and the
starting date for the course is Thursday 26th September.
