On behalf of the Church of Ireland community in the Diocese of Cashel, Ferns and Ossory, and in particular from those in Waterford and Lismore, I extend my deepest sympathy to Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan and the clergy, religious and lay people of his Diocese, on the death of Bishop William Lee. During his time as Bishop of Waterford and Lismore, Bishop Lee worked closely with my predecessors in a spirit of ecumenism. I know he will be missed by all those who held him in high regard and are grateful for his ministry.
