The Diocese extends it’s sympathy on the death of The Revd Canon Ian Coulter

Sympathy Notice: The Revd Canon Ian Coulter

The Bishop, clergy and people of the Diocese of Cashel, Ferns and Ossory are deeply saddened at the sudden death of the Revd Canon Ian Coulter.

Canon Coulter was Canon Treasurer of St Canice’s Cathedral as well as priest-in-charge of Templemore Union of Parishes. Ian was a devoted husband and father, a conscientious priest and caring pastor. He was widely known through his involvement in the civic life of Kilkenny and was loved by the parishioners in the various parishes in the Diocese in which he served for over twenty-six years as a non-stipendiary minister.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Daphne, his children Rian and Ailbhe, the family circle, as well as with his many friends and colleagues.

May Ian rest in peace and rise in glory.
