A Christmas Tree Festival is being held in St Mary’s Church, Enniscorthy from Thursday, December 1st-4th.

It is from 12-8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 12 noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Many businesses, schools, sports teams and charities are submitting trees for the event that will speak of the work the particular organisation does e.g. a tree of knowledge for schools.

It is an important community event and funds raised will be divided between St Vincent De Paul and general church funds.

There is a service of Thanksgiving on Friday 2nd in St Mary’s at 8 p.m.
