Canon Ian Coulter was installed as Prebendary of Blackrath at a service of Choral Evensong on Sunday 6th March.
Preaching at the service Canon Coulter spoke of his long association with the cathedral, where his children had been baptised, where one is remembered in the cathedral’s only twenty-first century piece of art, and where he was ordained. He spoke of the need for the chapter to safeguard the cathedral tradition for the future and to pass it on to the next generation.
Canon Coulter was supported by a large number of friends, family and parishioners from Templemore.
