A Diocesan Teenage Summer Camp was held in Gurteen college recently. The Diocese of Cashel, Ferns & Ossory linked up with the Diocese of Limerick bringing together teenagers from both dioceses. Bishop Michael Burrows joined the group at the UL outdoor adventure centre in Killaloe when the young people were enjoying a day out there. Adult leaders from both dioceses participated.
“Worship at the summer camp was led by Canon Ian Cruikshank who spoke to the young people each evening about going the extra mile for those around us and a midweek Taize service was also enjoyed,” says Canon Nicola Halford who organised the event.
