Féile Lachtain is a festival of arts, culture, history and heritage celebrating the vibrant cultural community of Freshford and its environs. This year commemorates the 1400th anniversary of the death of Saint Lachtain in 622.

An open-air community and family painting event will take place on the weekend of 11 and 12 June, facilitated by local artist Rachel Burke on the parish green.

This event will be free and open to anybody (especially children in local primary schools!) who wish to pick up a brush and take part.

Afterwards, the creative results will be showcased to the public.
