Gratitude to Archdeacon Gray

The Rt. Revd. Adrian Wilkinson, the Bishop of Cashel, Ferns and Ossory has accepted with regret the resignation of Archdeacon Bob Gray from his position as Archdeacon of Cashel, Ferns, Waterford and Lismore. He remains as Rector of Ardamine Group.

Paying tribute to Archdeacon Gray, Bishop Wilkinson says,

‘As his clerical colleagues and the wider diocesan community will know, Bob has been on extended sick leave since last March and he feels that the time has come for him to step back from his role as Archdeacon, a position he has held since 2015. Since that time, he has been a wise and conscientious leader in the Diocese. I am sorry that the time with him as my archdeacon has been curtailed by his ill health. I know his colleagues join me in thanking him for all he has done and continue to wish him God’s blessing.’
