The Church of Ireland stand at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, County Laois, will be in BLOCK 2, ROW 37, STAND NO. 591
There will be three themed days – youth, ministry and mission, and environment.
Members of the Diocese wishing to add their names to the roster for helping out for a couple of hours on any of the three days are asked to contact Archdeacon Ruth Elmes on rev.ruth.elmes@gmail.com so that the roster can now be finalised.
“The Church of Ireland tent at the Ploughing is a wonderous place to be. We host a combination of the curious, the lost, the familiar and the seeker,” Archdeacon Elmes says.
Conversations happen there that endorse the reason why our presence is so important. she also adds.
