WHITE RIBBON SUNDAY

The annual service in memory of those who have died by suicide will be held in Christ Church Cathedral, Waterford, on Sunday 27th November at 4pm.

Organised in conjunction with suicide bereavement services and support groups, a feature of this service is that white ribbons are placed on the railings of the Cathedral in remembrance of beloved ones who have died and left there over the Christmas period, amid the city’s Winterval festival until Epiphany.

We remember profound loss amid the festivities of Christmas.

Last year, over 230 white ribbons were placed on the railings.
