This is an article from the Honorary Secretaries with information on the Synod Service, Bills and reports, and a video to mark the 30th anniversary of the ordination of women to the priesthood. Further updates will follow as we get closer to General Synod. The timetable motion will propose that General Synod meets on Tuesday, 1st December, and Wednesday, 2nd December.

Archdeacons Ruth Elmes and Robert Miller have been newly appointed to the Children’s and Family Ministry Board and the Church and Society Commission respectively.
Disaster Advice Seminar (Wednesday, 9th December)
The RCB Property Department would like to encourage parish representatives from across the island to consider attending a free online seminar on preventing or reducing the risk of disaster striking a property (e.g. by fire, floods, storms, lightning strikes or vandalism), and to lessen the damage caused should a disaster occur. The seminar is being organised by the Irish Government’s Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage but will include advice that would be helpful in both jurisdictions.
