ONLINE CHURCH SERVICES

DIOCESE OF CASHEL, FERNS & OSSORY

As we continue to experience the joy of resumed public worship there are still a few COVID-19 guidelines to remember. These are:

  • 50 people may attend public worship subject to social distancing and due arrangements for individual households and ‘bubbles’.
  • Face coverings should continue to be worn.
  • Hand cleansing should continue to be meticulous.
  • Gathering around church doors and gates should be avoided.
  • From May 10 the maximum number at funeral and wedding services will also rise to 50 but ‘related events, either before or after, should not take place”
  • No singing yet
  • Keep windows and doors open where possible – ventilation will keep us safe
  • There is no explicit guidance from government as yet as to whether in large buildings with multiple entrances /exits, congregations of more than fifty may be accommodated in distinct pods.
  • Keep an eye on gov.ie for further clarifications and guidelines in the coming days and weeks.
